Card Vault Terms Of Use

By interacting with a Card Vault, you agree to our terms of use which can be read in full below. Please ensure that you understand our Terms of Use. We reccomend that all minors discuss the terms of use with their legal gaurdians.

SECTION 1: Card Vault Terms Of Use

The term "Card Vault" is used to describe our Vending Machines, used by Doublev Collectibles Pty Ltd. By using our vending machines, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or territory of residence, or you have obtained consent from a legal guardian.

You agree not to use the vending machines for any illegal or unauthorized purpose or to tamper with the machines in any way. Tampering, vandalism, or the use of counterfeit payment methods will result in appropriate legal action. Any misuse of the vending machines may result in service refusal and legal consequences.

SECTION 2: General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You agree not to interfere with, damage, or alter any part of the vending machines or associated technology. All content and systems used in the machines remain the property of Doublev Collectibles Pty Ltd.

We reserve the right to limit the availability or quantities of any products sold through our vending machines at our sole discretion.

SECTION 3: Accuracy and Availability

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions and pricing displayed on or near our machines, we are not responsible for typographical errors, or delays in restocking.

Product availability may vary between vending machines and locations. All purchases are subject to availability at the time of transaction and there is no guarantee that similar products may be available in the future.

SECTION 4: Pricing, modifications and availability

All prices displayed on the vending machines are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice. We may modify our product range or discontinue products at any time without notice or liability. Our inventory is shipped in batches, causing pricing fluctuations. This means that prices may vary per location. There may also be significant increases or decreases in the prices of our products. We always offer the best possible price that we can and work on a fixed margin structure. If we manage to source a shipment for less, this shipment will be sold for less, visa versa. Trading Card prices are based on scarcity, which creates volatile pricing. There is no guarantee that a product can be replaced again when out of stock, or be replaced at the same price.

SECTION 5: Product Quality and Returns

All products are inspected before they are loaded into our Card Vaults. Unless there is a Vending Failure, we cannot accept any returns. This is due to the nature of the trading card business. Once cards leave a Card Vault, they are considered to be tampered with and can no longer be sold by Doublev Collectibles Pty Ltd.

For mechanical Vending failures, we are always willing to support. A refund decision is made based on the available data reported to us during a Vend. Our machines are fitted with sensors and we can observe the sales and vending journey in detail. We will not accept any refunds on false claims where our data proves that the product was vended. False claims are considered attempts at theft, and will be reported to authorities, and center management. We usually resolve claims and approve a refund within 1-2 working days, but we reserve the right to take up to 7 working days on complicated cases. Once a refund is approved, we reverse the transaction and return the funds to the card used to make the purchase. This reversal process is subject to the lead times of our payment provider, which can take up to 4 working days to process. We are only able to provide you with a refund, if you are able to provide us with the needed details of the transaction. The needed details are: Time and date, product or aisle purchased and also the last 4 digits of the card used to make the purchase.

SECTION 6: Payment and Transactions

You agree to provide accurate payment details when using our vending machines. We are only able to process electronic transactions, which are handled by our Payment Terminal Provider, NAYAX LTD. When we process a transaction, we collect the time, date and location of the transaction, as well as the last 4 digits of the card used for payment. We do not have any access to the full card details, which are encrypted by the payment provider, or relevant financial institutions.

We reserve the right to cancel or reverse transactions in cases of suspected fraud or malfunction.

SECTION 7: Liability

You use our vending machines at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the machines will operate without interruption or error at all times, although we do our best to maintain a reliable service. Generally, if our Vend Success rate drops, we will remotely disable the machine and service the machine as soon as possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doublev Collectibles Pty Ltd will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising out of or related to your use of our vending machines, including but not limited to product dissatisfaction, machine malfunction, or transaction errors.

SECTION 8: Indemnification


You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doublev Collectibles Pty Ltd and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the vending machines or breach of these Terms.

SECTION 9: Prohibited Conduct

You are prohibited from attempting to break into or tamper with any of our Card Vaults. Engaging in any behavior that disrupts the normal operation of the Card Vault is considered to be tampering or an attempt to break into our machine. We will pursue legal action against individuals who take part in such conduct.

SECTION 10: Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
