A Quick Message
Hi there - Its me V.
Trust and Quality are at the center of our business philosophy. This policy has been setup to be fully transparent on how we operate Doublev Collectibles. Purchasing your cards from a faceless Vending Machine takes trust.
I want you to know that we take this trust seriously and place it at the center of what we do.
We take pride in doing the right thing.
Cheers
Vernon
Stocking Policy
1. Authenticity Of Cards
All products sold through our Card Vault are 100% authentic. We want customers to get what they are looking for, and that is good hits. We do what we can to ensure our loose packs maintain the same odds as a sealed box.
Most Sealed products are sourced from authorized distributors. There can be exceptions, which we list out below:
- Japanese Products: These are sourced through established international suppliers in Japan. We have sourced and sold thousands of packs and have a well established network of resellers. We only import sealed box's and cases.
- Out Of Print Sets: When we are unable to source stock from the official distributer, we may purchase inventory from 3rd parties. Usually this occurs through established relationships in Europe or the USA.
- Graded Cards are purchased and traded through various resellers. We only trade with established well referenced business. We verify all cards through their official grading database (PSA, BGS, CGC etc.) prior to being stocked.
- Loose Packs: We will never source or purchase loose packs and add them to a Card Vault. The possibility that the packs have been sorted or tampered with is too high.
- Counterfeit Products: We do not purchase Counterfeit products. Any product that creates any form of suspicion is not loaded into a Card Vault. A new trend in the industry is selling "imitation products". We do not support this practice.
*If its a booster pack in a Card Vault - you can be sure it came to us in a sealed box.
2. Booster Pack Integrity
We do not purchase loose booster packs. All stock is received as a sealed case or box. We pay special attention to keeping the odds in the buyers favour by doing the following:
- Japanese Products: We allocate box's to locations. The box seals are broken on site and are packed into the machine in the same order. We strive to keep the odds in a Card Vault the same as a sealed box.
- In a case where the aisles are full, the opened box is marked with the aisle number and stored on site. It will then be added back into the same aisle as the rest of the packs. This is not the norm and is usually avoided.
- Doublev Collectibles is highly against any form of pack sorting. We do not support any practices of weighing or manipulating packs to increase odds.
- Packs are stocked with no selection bias.
Why do we do this? Over and above our own integrity, we want returning customers. We want our customers to get good hits, because that usually means they will be back to buy more packs tomorrow. Its really as simple as that.
We sell thousands of packs through our business. Sorting and searching packs is not a sustainable way for a professional business to make money. It can only work for amateurs with a fly by night attitude. These amateurs give the whole industry a bad name.
*Only buy your loose packs from a reputable business. Do not buy from amateurs.
3. Card Storage and Handling
Card Vault machines are stocked and maintained with care for collectible products.
- Prior to dispatch, cards are stored in a cool environment, with a maximum humidity of 65%.
- Card Vaults maintain a temperature of 17 - 21 degrees Celsius.
- All Card Vaults use an Elevator to ensure that packs do not fall from height.
Machines are serviced regularly to ensure dispensing mechanisms remain safe for collectibles.
4. Singles Condition Standards
All Cards are stocked are handled according to collector-grade standards. Our policy is under promise and over deliver.
- Raw singles are stored in sleeves and rigid protective holders.
- We inspect all Cards for damage, dents, bends, moisture exposure, or any manipulation before stocking.
- We do not stock cards with signs of damage or wear.
- Cards are stocked at a Near Mint (NM) condition unless otherwise stated.
*Most people would grade our cards Mint Condition. This is a bold statement for a business that basis its value on fairness and honesty. We strive to provide cards in Mint Condition.
5. Pricing
Pricing reflects market value, rarity, and sourcing costs.
- We price our packs at the current market rate during the refill. Prices are fixed until the next refill.
- Prices can and often do change significantly between refills. The market moves quickly, and we could be buying our packs for double the price by the next refill.
- Prices are clearly displayed before purchase.
- Pricing is reviewed regularly against market conditions.
- Convenience and Vending accessibility may affect pricing slightly between different locations.
Our goal is to provide fair and transparent pricing to collectors.
6. Payment and Technical Support
Technical issues are now extremely rare. If a machine experiences a technical issue:
- Customers can contact DoubleV Collectibles through the Whatsapp Hotline.
- Our Card Vaults will automatically cancel failed Vends.
- If payment is taken and the product is not dispensed correctly, a replacement or refund will be provided after verification of our remote data and CCTV. This process is usually completed within 1 working day.
- We do not do bank transfers. We will only return the funds by reversing the transaction.
- Funds are returned to the same account used to make the purchase.
We aim to resolve all technical issues quickly and fairly.
7. No Refunds
Due to the collectible nature of trading cards we cannot process any refunds on any product that is successfully dispensed.
Once products have left our control, there are several issues that arise that render the products unsellable. We cannot maintain the above policy, while also accepting refunds.
Probable Risks if we would process a refund:
- Our Products could be replaced with similar products, or even counterfeit products.
- The packs will most likely be carried and stored in a manner not in line with the above policy.
- The packs could be sorted or searched using advanced methods, returning only dead packs.
*Refunds are only provided in cases of technical Card Vault failure.
